Potluck Dinner Series

In partnership with Global Dining Access by Resy, we welcome Chef Jonny Black of Chez Noir, Chef Joe Papach of The Harvey House, and Chef Max Wittawat of Bangkok Supper Club to create a collaborative menu, alongside Chef Kostow and Chef Phil Moratin.

Tickets are available to the General Public on Friday, April 26th at 9:00 am. 

Potluck Dinner is $125 per person and a portion of the proceeds will be dedicated to The Cameron Thompson Legacy Scholarship.

Chef Jonny Black

Born in the Bay Area and raised in Virginia, Chef Black was exposed to the diversity of regional, coastal American cuisines at a young age. He received a full scholarship to The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, graduating with honors in 2007. He then moved to New York City, where he strengthened his skills as an opening member of the team at Allen & Delancey and Corton, before transitioning to Chef de Partie at Per Se. 

After six years in New York, Black spent three months staging in Europe at Noma, Relae, In de Wulf and The Clove Club. These experiences inspired the menu at Governor restaurant in Brooklyn, where Black stepped into his first Chef de Cuisine role. When the restaurant was, unexpectedly, destroyed by Hurricane Sandy, Black saw an opportunity to head west, joining the Quince team in San Francisco as Chef de Cuisine...

Chef Joe Papach

A native of Whiting, Indiana, Joe Papach’s passion for cooking was first piqued by helping his grandmother prepare classic Mexican dishes from scratch. After graduating from Johnson & Wales, he cooked at a series of restaurants in Providence, Boston, and Chicago before spending several years as sous chef of New York’s Gramercy Tavern. Relocating to Northern California, Joe worked at three-Michelin-star landmarks, Quince and sister restaurant Cotogna; and Napa’s iconic French Laundry, where he spent six years as sous chef. He and his wife Shaina settled down in her hometown of Madison, Wisconsin in 2018, opening The Harvey House in 2021 and Butterbird in 2024.

Chef Max Wittawat

As executive chef of Bangkok Supper Club in New York City, Max Wittawat brings years of experience and a passion for regional Thai cooking to a vibrant menu that captures the conviviality and electric flavors of Bangkok's late-night food scene. Wittawat has held numerous culinary positions in Bangkok and the United States, including as Ian Kittichai's right hand for Cuisine Concept Co., Ltd, his international food and beverage consulting company; culinary executive for Asia’s the Minor Food Group; leading the kitchen team at Spot Dessert Bar; and competing as an assistant chef on Iron Chef USA, Japan and Thailand.
